August 2023 Custom Work
Although City Theatrical manufactures a large catalogue of unique lighting accessories, we also like to do custom work, and can do it incredibly quickly. If you need a custom design or fabrication of metal lighting products, electronic design, LED power supplies, custom wireless DMX installations, or nearly any other challenge that you can come up with, call us and we will help you through it. We’ve done custom work for major TV networks, theme parks, museums, architectural projects, and just about any other type if lighting project you can imagine.
The following projects - custom Half Top Hats, custom Rock Guards, custom cut QolorFLEX LED Tape, custom GLP X5 Hexcel Louvers, and custom cut QolorFLEX NuNeon - that we worked on during August 2023 exemplify the type of custom manufacturing work that City Theatrical does on a daily basis.
Custom Color Kinetics Powercore Gen 4 Half Top Hats
The client required custom Half Top Hats for Color Kinetics Powercore Gen 4 lighting fixtures to provide beam control for an architectural project. City Theatrical custom manufactured the Half Top Hats to meet the size specifications provided by the client.

Custom Cut and Soldered QolorFLEX NuNeon
The client required custom cut lengths of QolorFLEX NuNeon for an architectural project. City Theatrical custom cut the QolorFLEX NuNeon and soldered custom length leads which exited through the back of the tape to fit the specifications provided by the client.
